the guy i got it off tried to drill it out but ended up drilling on a downward angle and has come out the bottem end of the bolt and through the bell housing can i still go through drill the rest out and then re tap/die thread back in or is it gonna be pull the and change the bell housing any suggestions tips or advice would be heaven sent at the moment i'm a fair way from town like 350 kays just to the higway but have a well equiped workshop and plenty of spares out and around the place out here
G'day i have landed troopie 02 6 cyl turbo there are one broken bolt on the starter motor on the bottem bolt?
if you can somehow drill straight through the bolt you could maybe use an ezy out to remove it or else drill it and tap a new thread it may be bigger than standard and you might have to make the hole in the starter bigger to suit but easier than finding a replacement bell housing
