The starter from the 350 has 5 wires from it how many will I actual use and where. The altenator wires are in the harness for the Regal. But the altenator wires are attcahed to the starter / I need help wireing the hole thing up whats neccessary to get it to work properly.
I changed my motor out of a 79 Regal ( 301 ) to a Chevy ( 350 ) out of a 86 Caprice i need wiring help?
stick to the way wires were in the car you're working. don't worry how the wires were in the other car.
if i read you right you're working on the regal. so if the regal only had 1,2,or 3 wires going to the starter then that's how you do it.
